There are five Chicken Breeds in Animania. Each has slightly different drops and resources. For instance, the Orpington drops the best meat, while the Wyandotte lays brown eggs, and Leghorns lay eggs the fastest.

- Peck the ground to look for additional food.

- Roosters crow in the early morning.

- In the wild they will eat frogs and toads.
- Spawn in family groups in the wild.
- When spotted, they'll look even more wholesome unlike when silently wandering.

White chickens and yellow chicks. Replaces vanilla chickens.
- Found in plains.
- Lays eggs the fastest.
Orpington
Golden-brown chickens and bright yellow chicks.
- Found in jungles and swamps.
- Drops the best meat.
Plymouth Rock
Grey and white speckled chickens and chicks.
- Found in hills.
Rhode Island Red
Brown chickens, Males have black underbelly and chicks are bright yellow.
- Found in forests.
- Lays brown eggs.
Wyandotte
Dark brown chickens and chicks
- Found in forests.
- Lays brown eggs.
Care[]
Food[]
- Chickens eat seeds from Troughs (all vanilla seeds).
- Seeds can be scattered on the ground by right-clicking while holding seeds.
- Can be hand fed seeds.
Water[]
- Will drink from water filled Troughs, or water blocks such as ponds, rivers and lakes.
- You can also fill up a water bucket and give them a drink manually.
- Unlike pigs and cows, they do not consume a full water block or bucket.
Nests[]
For a hen to lay eggs, she must be happy (fed and watered) and have access to a nest. You can pluck the eggs from the nest, or if you have a rooster nearby leave them to hatch into chicks.
